Michael Izard is a seasoned investment banker with over 20 years of hands-on experience across a number of industries including technology, e-commerce, media and retail.  At Helm Capital Partners, he focuses on client relationships, deal execution and firm strategy

Prior to founding Helm Capital Partners, Michael was a Managing Director at Mizuho focused on Technology Media & Telecom (“TMT”) M&A.  He also served as Managing Director at Methuselah Advisors, a boutique M&A investment banking firm focused on technology and media.  Michael was also an M&A banker in the TMT group at Lazard, a director of M&A and Strategy at IAC and an investment banker at Morgan Stanley

His experience includes M&A sell-sides with public and private companies of all sizes,  buyside M&A, divestitures, spin-offs, hostile take-overs, SPAC mergers, capital raising, special committee assignments, fairness opinions and restructurings

Michael received a BA with Honors in Economics from Harvard

Praneeth Kocherlakota is an experienced investment banker, advising clients in M&A and strategic financing in the technology, media, entertainment and gaming sectors

Prior to Helm Capital Partners, Praneeth was a Vice President at Moelis & Company where he was a member of the Media Investment Banking practice. Previously, he served as a Vice President at Methuselah Advisors, a boutique M&A investment banking firm focused on technology and media 

He has completed a number of high-profile transactions for public and private companies including sell side M&A, buy-side M&A, divestitures, spin-offs, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and restructurings. He also has significant experience in debt and equity capital raises
